Plasma One Expands Crypto Funding and Bank Withdrawals
Plasma One now supports additional crypto funding routes, bank withdrawals in 19 fiat currencies and an optional passkey for verified users. The account remains a dollar spending balance: additional incoming assets and outgoing currencies do not create separate balances for each currency.
Crypto deposits convert when the funds arrive
Supported assets include ETH, WBTC, cbBTC and HYPE alongside stablecoins such as USDT, USDC, USDG, USDe, PYUSD, USDS and EURC. ETH supports Ethereum, Optimism, Base and Arbitrum; WBTC supports Ethereum; cbBTC supports Ethereum and Base; HYPE supports HyperEVM. Native BTC cannot use this route, and XPL uses the separate tier-management flow.
Deposits convert at the market rate when they arrive and become spendable only after the status reaches Completed. EURC therefore introduces a euro-to-dollar conversion; depositing ETH or wrapped BTC sells the asset and credits the proceeds to the Cash balance. Conversions cannot be reversed. Deposits can incur network, bridge and swap charges plus a Plasma fee between 0.15% and 0.75%, depending on the asset; the quoted fee breakdown and minimum apply before sending. Fees do not change between Lite, Core and Platinum. Users who want to retain their original crypto exposure should distinguish a deposit that auto-converts from a wallet transfer that preserves the asset.
19 withdrawal currencies do not mean 19 deposit currencies
Fiat deposits still support USD, EUR, GBP, MXN, BRL and COP. They convert automatically to USDT in the wallet rather than remaining as separate fiat balances. Bank withdrawals support those 6 currencies plus CAD, AUD, INR, PHP, IDR, MYR, THB, VND, KRW, TRY, NGN, ZAR and KES.
The local rails include EFT and Interac for CAD; IMPS, UPI, NEFT and RTGS for INR; InstaPay and PesoNet for PHP; BI-FAST and BI-RTGS for IDR; PromptPay for THB; NAPAS and CITAD for VND; FAST for TRY; and local bank transfer or M-Pesa for KES. Availability depends on residence, including state where relevant, and some currencies can only reach recipients outside their home country. Existing users can inspect their available list through Send and Add a bank account. Someone able to send INR should not infer that an INR salary can fund the same account.
A passkey adds confirmation to the existing sign-in method
Verified users can create 1 optional passkey through Settings and Security, stored in a password manager. It works alongside Apple, Google or email sign-in. Confirmation covers opening the app, sending money, moving funds into or out of Earn and withdrawing to a bank; after confirmation, another prompt is not required for 7 days.
Deleting the credential from a phone or password manager before removing it in Plasma One can lock the user out until reset. When changing phones, check that the credential can sync to the destination device; Plasma says an iPhone passkey will not transfer to Android.
