Exa Card Proposal Would Add Tokenized Stock Collateral

Exa Labs plans to add tokenized stocks as collateral for borrowing USDC, including through the credit mode of Exa Card. The change would use an identity-verification-enabled deployment of Exactly on Base. Exa Labs submitted the governance proposal EXAIP-34 on October 20, 2026. Voting on Snapshot runs from October 21, 2026 at 16:09 UTC to October 26 at 16:09 UTC, and the feature is not live until the proposal passes and the markets are deployed.

The 5 proposed Coinbase stock tokens are NVDAc for Nvidia, AAPLc for Apple, METAc for Meta, GOOGLc for Alphabet and AMZNc for Amazon. They would be accepted as collateral only; users would not be able to borrow the stock tokens themselves.

Eligible users who complete identity verification would be able to pledge these assets and borrow USDC at fixed interest rates, including for card spending in credit mode. The stock tokens are not available to US persons. Access would therefore depend on both identity verification and the tokens’ eligibility restrictions.

Chainlink equity price feeds operate 24/5 and retain the last price over weekends and US stock market holidays; a price gap when the market reopens could create liquidation risk for positions backed by these tokens.
