Sovrae Physical Raises ATM Limits and Offers a $199 Upgrade
Sovrae has introduced a new Physical card with ATM limits of $3,750 a day and $80,000 a month, up from $1,500 and $15,000 respectively. Existing Physical holders can request an upgrade for $199 through 31 October 2026 via email, Telegram or a support ticket.
The daily ceiling is 2.5 times the old limit and the monthly ceiling about 5.3 times the old limit. That changes sustained cash access more than a single withdrawal: even withdrawing the full $3,750 daily would take 22 withdrawal days to reach $80,000, with a smaller final withdrawal. These are card limits; they do not establish what any particular ATM will dispense or charge.
The new card does not work in the US, India, Türkiye or Indonesia. Sovrae directs people based there to ask about other cards. A current Physical holder therefore needs to check the new version's country restrictions before paying, rather than assume existing access carries over with the upgrade.
Sovrae also describes a lower foreign-exchange fee without specifying its new rate in this update. The upgrade price alone cannot establish a break-even point: an existing holder needs the actual conversion quote and fee schedule, plus a reason to use the higher limits. For someone whose cash withdrawals already fit the old ceilings, capacity by itself does not recover the $199 cost. This is a separate change from the earlier Sovrae Virtual upgrade.
