Wirex Offers 100 Pulsar Card Early Access Places

Wirex is allocating 100 early access places for Pulsar, alongside a 100-Point airdrop, against a waitlist of 20,000+. Wirex controls this allocation; the announced quantity does not establish how many places remain available when someone applies.

Early access and card issuance are separate stages. Wirex describes the card as available to users in 76+ countries; that figure describes overall reach, without establishing that the allocation covers every country. An applicant needs to confirm the card's issued and usable status in the app before arranging payments.

Under the published redemption rules, 25% or 50% refunds cost 100 Points per $1, 75% refunds cost 112 Points per $1 and 100% refunds cost 125 Points per $1. Thus 100 Points can refund 50% ($1) of a $2 eligible purchase, or 100% ($0.80) of a $0.80 eligible purchase. Refunds arrive in USDC, require at least $0.50 and are limited to originally eligible transactions that have not been refunded or claimed. The Points redemption analysis explains the conversion mechanism in more detail.

For a planned purchase, the selected transaction and its Points requirement determine the airdrop's usable value. After confirming card availability, an applicant can compare the 100-Point balance with that requirement before budgeting a refund into spending.
