Plasma One's iPhone Duo Boost Caps Apple Cashback at $200
Plasma One Platinum members can earn 10% on qualifying purchases directly from Apple under a new iPhone Duo promotion. The $200 cap applies across the entire campaign, so the boosted rate covers $2,000 of qualifying spending. Eligible Apple purchases are not limited to the iPhone Duo.
Authorization must fall between 16 and 29 October
The window runs from 12:00 UTC on 16 October 2026 to 23:59:59 UTC on 29 October. The card payment must be authorized during that window while the account already holds Platinum, and subsequently captured. Upgrading after authorization does not qualify an earlier purchase; seeing an offer banner on Lite or Core does not establish eligibility.
A preorder can qualify even if shipping and capture happen after the campaign closes, provided its authorization meets those conditions. If Apple replaces an expired authorization after the deadline, Plasma decides whether the resulting transaction belongs to the campaign. An order confirmation dated inside the window therefore does not establish eligibility on its own: the card authorization and tier status need to match too.
The 10% rate replaces ordinary cashback
The boost replaces the base or category rate on the same spending. It has no minimum purchase or per-transaction cap, but all cards under one account share the $200 campaign limit, and each person can benefit from only one limit. Spending above the remaining boosted allowance earns the ordinary rate. This cap is separate from monthly tier caps.
Apple's online store, Apple Store app and Apple-operated retail stores can qualify when the payment reaches a retail merchant identifier Plasma recognizes. Carrier offers, resellers, marketplaces, App Store purchases and Apple services do not qualify. Gift cards and account-balance top-ups are excluded; non-card-funded portions do not earn the boost. Apple Pay can qualify when entirely funded by the card and recognized as an eligible transaction. Buying an Apple device through a reseller does not become eligible merely because the product is identical.
Rewards accrue in USD and are paid in XPL after a 45-day hold measured from settlement and a completed review; Plasma can extend the hold or review. Returns and refunds reduce the accrual, and later reversals can trigger recovery. The XPL conversion price is determined at payout, so the purchase-date token price does not fix the number of tokens received, and their eventual USD value is not guaranteed.
The campaign also has an undisclosed aggregate budget and may end early. Help Center parameters take precedence for rates, amounts, limits and dates. Before a planned Apple purchase, check those current parameters, the account's effective Platinum status and remaining allowance; keep the authorization and settlement records if a preorder ships later. Someone buying outside Apple's own retail channels, or requiring an immediate reduction in the purchase price, cannot count this reward toward checkout funding.
