Plasma One Card Balances Reach $18.26M in Tracker Data
Plasma One card accounts held $18.26M in Paymentscan's 16 October 2026 snapshot, compared with $11.17M at the end of August. The tracker attributes 89.4% to USDT0 and the rest to XPL. It separately reports $14.64M in the Earn vault; those funds should not be folded into a claim that the card accounts themselves hold that combined amount.
The card-account increase is $7.09M, or about 63.5% against the August baseline. This is growth in a stock of funds, not a flow of purchases. If users deposit more than they spend or withdraw, the balance can rise without a matching increase in card spending. XPL price changes can also affect a USD-valued balance without an equivalent change in token quantity.
The separate Earn balance matters when interpreting the account as a payment product. Funds allocated for earning and funds counted in card accounts answer different questions about what users are doing with their money. Adding them may describe a broader pool of tracked assets, but cannot establish how much is available for immediate card payment or how many people actively spend.
Paymentscan's own charts distinguish liquid balances, Earn deposits, inflows, withdrawals and spending. Its 4.72% Earn APY in the same dated snapshot is a point-in-time figure, not a guaranteed rate. These third-party measurements do not constitute an audited reserve statement or proof that every account can withdraw simultaneously.
For someone comparing payment adoption, pair the balance series with settled spending and active-spender data over the same dates. For an individual cardholder, the useful check is the amount currently available in the card account and the route for returning Earn funds to it, rather than the aggregate assets shown for all users.
