ether.fi Plans MoonPay Bank Deposits and In-App Ramps

ether.fi plans to integrate MoonPay funding and withdrawals directly into its app, alongside cross-chain swaps and virtual accounts with account and routing numbers. The capabilities are scheduled to roll out over the coming months, rather than becoming universally available on the same day.

MoonPay Headless Ramps will embed fiat entry and exit flows without external web views or redirects, including saved payment cards. MoonPay Trade will handle cross-chain routing and conversion. MoonPay Enterprise will provide virtual account details for receiving wages, savings or business revenue, with ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT, Faster Payments, SEPA and Open Banking among the named fiat routes. External-wallet crypto deposits are also part of the integration.

For ether.fi Cash, this changes how funds can reach the account used for card spending. An incoming bank payment, a cross-chain conversion and a card authorization remain separate operations: embedding the first 2 in one app does not establish when the resulting balance becomes spendable or what the full route costs.

Identity verification is intended to be reusable across supported products where local regulations allow it. One completed check therefore does not establish eligibility for every banking rail or country. ether.fi has not published a complete country-by-country rollout schedule or fee table for this integration.

Existing users should distinguish a route that appears in their account from one still planned for rollout. Before relying on a virtual account for salary, verify its beneficiary details, supported incoming currency and funding status; before card spending, check the credited spendable balance rather than the bank transfer confirmation alone.
