Optimism Card Spending Hits $132.1M in September
Stablecoin card spending settled on Optimism reached a record $132.1M in September 2026, according to Paymentscan. That compares with $15.3M in March 2026, making the September total more than 8 times the March figure within the provider's tracked data.
Paymentscan attributes the growth to ether.fi Cash moving from Scroll to Optimism in April 2026. As of 17 October 2026, ether.fi accounted for 97.5% of the Optimism card volume measured by Paymentscan.
Paymentscan measures on-chain stablecoin card payment settlements. Its Optimism coverage includes 8 of 11 tracked programmes, and the monthly spending measure counts settled card payments rather than card top-ups.
