ether.fi adds airport lounge cashback up to $49
ether.fi Cash now offers eligible members 100% cashback on single-visit airport lounge passes, capped at $49 per pass. The benefit applies to purchases made after October 20, 2026, using an ether.fi card in the Visa Airport Companion App. The membership tier at the time of purchase determines eligibility and the allowance. Single-visit passes in the app currently cost $32 to $49, so the cap only matters if Dragonpass charges more than $49 for a pass; the member then pays the difference.
Lounge allowances depend on membership tier
- Core: the benefit is not included.
- Luxe: 2 passes per year.
- Pinnacle and VIP: unlimited passes annually.
Across all eligible tiers, each customer is limited to 1 pass per UTC day. Guests are not covered. The allowance year runs from January 1 to December 31 in UTC. Unused passes do not carry over to the next year.
Buy in Visa Airport Companion, then claim the cashback
- Buy a single-visit lounge pass in the Visa Airport Companion App with an ether.fi card. No activation is required.
- The Dragonpass purchase transaction automatically matches the Category Boost. Cashback stays pending until the transaction settles, usually within 1–2 days, then becomes earned.
- After 7 days, the earned cashback becomes claimable. The member must claim it to receive it.
Ordinary cashback is not added on top of this benefit. Exclusions include passes bought through third parties, Dragonpass subscriptions including Go, purchases inside lounges, guest passes and purchases beyond the annual allowance.
If a purchase is refunded, its pass allowance is restored and the associated cashback is revoked.
