Bitget Wallet Card 3% cashback: monthly spend thresholds
Bitget Wallet Card pays 2% base assetback. The 3% rate needs $200 of monthly spending in markets including Singapore, Japan and the EEA, and $100 in markets including Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines. Both groups include more markets, and a listed market does not mean new applications are open there.
Qualifying in a month also covers earlier purchases
Reaching the applicable threshold gives eligible purchases the 3% rate for that calendar month and the following month. The higher rate also applies to eligible purchases made earlier in the qualifying month. Refunds and excluded transactions do not count toward the threshold; monthly reward limits still apply. New cardholders also qualify for the higher rate under the programme's new-cardholder rules.
For example, assume an existing cardholder in a $200 market makes $150 of eligible purchases early in October, then another $50 before October ends. With enough reward allowance remaining, those $200 earn $6 at 3%, rather than $3 on the earlier purchases at 2% plus $1.50 on the final purchase at 3%. The difference is $1.50 because the higher rate applies to the earlier spending too.
The rate then remains available through November. That does not make it permanent: October's qualification alone does not establish December's rate. Existing customers should check their progress each month instead of treating an unlocked rate as a lifetime benefit.
The settlement date starts the claim countdown
Rewards become claimable on the 8th day after transaction settlement. That clock does not necessarily begin when the card is tapped. A pending purchase and a settled purchase therefore have different implications for when the reward can be claimed.
Choosing USDC sends claimed rewards to the card balance. Other reward assets go to a rewards account, with withdrawals available once its value reaches 1 USDC. Selecting a different reward asset does not remove the waiting period or the monthly allowance.
Before moving spending to reach the threshold, compare the additional reward on purchases that are already planned with any extra card costs. Spending merely to unlock a higher percentage can cost more than the reward it produces. The app's eligible-spend progress and remaining reward allowance matter more than the total shown on a statement.
