Altitude Demos QR Bill Pay With USDC on Solana

Altitude is demonstrating a QR-enabled Bill Pay proof of concept at Money20/20 USA in Las Vegas, running from 18–21 October 2026. The prototype uses the ANSI X9.150 QR payment standard to connect a business invoice with a digitally signed payment request and a USDC payment on Solana.

The feature is not generally available. Altitude is working toward broader availability soon, without a release date. The demonstration follows this workflow:

  1. A business receives an invoice PDF containing an X9.150 QR code from a participating accounting platform and uploads it to Altitude Bill Pay.
  2. Bill Pay reads the QR code to retrieve the digitally signed payment request, then verifies its origin and integrity.
  3. The bill and recipient details are filled in automatically.
  4. The payer reviews the details and authorizes a USDC payment on Solana.
  5. A notification is returned to update the invoice status.

The digital signature verifies where the payment request came from and whether its contents were altered. It does not establish that the underlying invoice is genuine or should be paid; the business still decides whether to authorize payment. Bill Pay runs separately from the Altitude Card: in the demo, the invoice is settled by a USDC transfer on Solana and no card transaction takes place.
