Plasma One opens physical card ordering

Plasma One now offers an in-app path to order a physical card for eligible users. That moves the card beyond a virtual number and a phone wallet: the same Plasma One balance can now be used at a counter that expects a card to be presented.

The practical difference is small until it is not. Apple Pay and Google Pay cover a lot of ordinary spending, but they do not help when a phone is flat, a terminal has contactless switched off, or a merchant asks for the card itself. A physical card is a fallback for those moments, not a new way for a stablecoin balance to earn more.

The photo shows a Visa Infinite-marked Plasma card, but the mark alone does not settle which travel or concierge benefits a particular cardholder receives. Plasma's rewards terms say that tier benefits and third-party Visa perks are subject to the relevant program and eligibility terms. The sensible place to confirm that is the order flow and the in-app card details, not the card finish.

Physical availability is still regional. Before treating the update as an upgrade, check whether the order button appears for the account, whether the delivery address is accepted, and what the app shows for any issuance or replacement charge. The same controls matter after it arrives: freeze the card promptly if it is lost, and keep only the balance needed for regular spending on the card account.
