Plasma One adds Colombian Peso onramps
Plasma announced Colombian Peso onramps for Plasma One. It sounds like a regional footnote. For users in Colombia, it may be the difference between trying the card and ignoring it.
The first mile matters
Crypto card writeups spend a lot of time on rewards. The first mile is usually less glamorous: how does money enter the account? If the route requires a bank transfer, an exchange, a wallet move and a bridge, the card has already lost many normal users.
COP support reduces steps but keeps rates, minimums and KYC
A local onramp can reduce steps for someone paid in Colombian Pesos or holding a COP balance. It does not remove exchange rates, minimums, local transfer costs or KYC. Those still decide whether the route is actually good.
Before making it your default, compare the displayed rate with your usual route and time the first top-up. Convenience is only useful when the cost is visible.
The tracked card details are on Plasma One Card.
