KAST Business opens waitlist for global USD accounts and team cards

KAST announced KAST Business on September 1, extending its consumer stablecoin card into a company account: a shared USD balance, instant virtual cards for each team member, and cashback paid in dollars rather than points. The official page frames it as a waitlist product, "Request Access" and a five-question qualification form, not a self-serve signup.

That distinction matters more than the feature list. A business that applies gets a decision "within 24 hours" if it qualifies, according to the site. Existing KAST Personal users skip a step: their identity verification carries over, so an approved Business account activates faster.

The compliance cost sits with the business, not with every card holder

Owners and admins complete full identity verification, the same bar as a personal KAST account. Employees added to the team view only submit basic details, no separate KYC pass per card. That split is the practical reason the product can promise "hundreds of virtual cards, issued instantly": the compliance cost sits with the business, not with every card holder.

Cards draw from a single shared balance, and issuance itself is free. Admins set a daily limit per card, and an employee can see only their own card, not the company balance or teammates' cards. For an agency or remote team paying contractors, that combination, one funded balance, instant per-person cards, no individual KYC per card, is the part that would otherwise require a business bank account and a card program of its own.

The cashback rate does not match the personal card

KAST's page lists up to 3% cashback on business purchases, paid in dollars rather than points, plus up to 8% APY on idle balance and a discount of up to 10% on cloud spend such as AWS or Google Cloud. That 3% sits below the 5% cashback campaign KAST previously ran on Kast Card for personal Shopping, Dining and Travel spend, a reminder that the business and personal products are priced separately rather than sharing one rewards table.

Payouts reach team members and vendors in 170+ countries, with local payouts in 18+ currencies alongside international wire transfers for suppliers. What KAST does not publish yet is a jurisdiction list: the FAQ says only that availability "varies by jurisdiction and is subject to regulatory approval," so a business outside the US, UK, EU, LatAm, MENA or SEA options on the signup form should confirm eligibility before assuming access.
